The R&D team of KUNTYE is formed by a group of experts from China, Germany, the United States, Japan and Australia in areas of drivetrain, electric steering, chassis module, control-algorithms, testing, etc. The team insists on forward thinking engineering solutions, innovation and mastery of core technology. It has owned and declared more than 100 patents. There are over 300 engineers at present. The R&D team is continuing to expand its scale by actively introducing talents such as, academicians, “1000 Talents Program” experts and foreign experts in related fields.
KUNTYE plant located in Changzhou Economic Zone, with a total floor area of 350,000 square meters, of which, 170,000 square meters is production area and testing center. Phase one construction planned for multiple production lines of drivetrain, EPS, brake modules and axle gear machining, with annual capacity of 600,000 pcs for each product category. To ensure work efficiency and production safety, KUNTYE applies Intelligent Manufacturing System for information and data management in process of product design, integration, sales, purchasing, manufacturing, and logistics, etc.
KUNTYE has established R&D facilities in Changzhou, Suzhou and Germany. Over 22,000 square meters testing center has been built in Changzhou. KUNTYE has proven abilities of complete product development process including concept design, prototype design, application & integration and production verification. Each new technology must be tested and verified to ensure product reliability and consistency.
